Worn out in 2 months !
Delivered 28th November 2024. Installed day recieved. Tumble dryer noisy again 20th Jan 2025 inspected to discover the new bearing had worn away considerably in two months !! the original had lasted many years. Have now ordered a genuine Hotpoint replacement from Amazon. A waste of money.

5 min fix
A quick fix item that might work for some but didn’t for me. An inexpensive item that is worth trying if your drum is making a noise. I suspect mine needs a new shaft because just changing the bearing made no difference. That said this is a very quick job whereas changing the shaft means a full strip down so if it worked it would have been brilliant.

Worn through bearing in a few months
Not sure if it's the bearing but it's been destroyed in a few months. Don't understand how it can only last that long.

Waste of money
Have given one star for next day delivery,Part was installed and lasted less than 7 days before it became noisey, on inspection the part appears to be made of aluminium totally useless, as I stupidly purchased two at the time I have now fitted this one as I currently don't have anything else . We'll see how long it last 🤬

Not a good Hotpoint replacement
The depth of the bearing was greater than the Hotpoint original I was replacing. I could not fit the castellated nut without filing the bearing down. Cannot recommend.

Bad quality
Bearing replaced worn out one that was 5yrs old and squealing badly. This bearing resolved the issue for 6 days, then started to wear out and squealing returned. Very poor quality material
