Good so far
So far working really well! It might be because of the paint I use but it gets caught up a little it barley used any paint too!

Good for beginners
I have no experience airbrushing and not a lot of experience hand painting either. I bought this to dip my toes in the water of airbrushing and it turned out to be pretty nice. I am no expert but it seemed easy to use, fairly easy to clean and seemed to spray pretty constant during use. I managed to paint a terrian piece fairly well, the thick paint spots were from me not paying attention to how much paint was left in the gun. Overall I think it would be good for beginners at the price I got it for.

Giving back in art centric ways!
I bought this, with leather paints, for a give-away at a public high school in the west side of Chicago during their upcoming Mental Health Awareness Day that will happen in May. This high school is in one of the socio-disadvantaged neighborhoods in Chicago. Mental awareness day happens in May. If the students complete all the stations that are centered on mental health coping techniques, including art, yoga, meditation and counseling, they will get their name in the give- away of this kit. Pretty cool!

Barely put together.
TLDR: When I opened up my first air compressor and airbrush I found that it didn't work. I got a nice burn on my thumb along with a puff of acrid smoke and some sparks when I went to figure out why. My compressor came in parts when it should have come whole. It seems the biggest part is the battery wasn't assembled properly. The on/off button is also very loose, but I couldn't tell you if that is problematic. Also, it stinks terribly. I'm assuming its cheap paint. The Full Story: I was quite excited to use my new airbrush today. Too bad the product that I was sent was barely put together. Yes, you get what you pay for... usually. I got this because I recently got into Warhammer 40k and I've got many minis to prime and paint. I got this item because of Ninjon the painter/YouTuber. I figured, at the very least, it would be good for this project and if I want to move on to bigger and better things later, I could still do that.I plugged it in to charge last night and was a bit dismayed when I saw that the indicator on the bottom didn't light up in any way. This morning it simply didn't work. I'd have just sent it back for a replacement, things happen. I could wait, but I can't do that now. It was ordered too long ago. See, I ordered the item and I then left my home to be an intern for a few months. I never got a chance to check it out as it arrived too late. So, since I was screwed anyway, I opened up the bottom, hoping to see that the battery just had a cap on it or something to keep it from being used before it arrived. There are no instructions that go with this, just a print-off that's wrapped around the compressor itself. It's more or less a warning to screw the airbrush or hose in without damaging the fixture. I figured out pretty quickly that the battery works since it burned me when some loose wires completed the circuit through my digit. That's really on me. I've never really worked with this kind of thing or been burned like that. So, now I know. I'll remember that for later.I think then that I can repair it. It seems like I could solder the wire to the connector, but I don't have that kind of equipment. I'll see if a friend has one. I'll definitely look at a tutorial or two before I try.Besides the battery problem, I can say that the on/off switch is also very loose and it rattles. The paint also smells absolutely terrible. I hope everyone else faired better.

Great little kit to test the waters
I ordered this based off of the advice of a miniatures painter on youtube called Ninjon. I decided that I did want to try air brushing, that it had a core use within the miniatures painting hobby and that even if I did spend the money on this kit, that having a cheap airbrush/condenser if I went to buy another higher quality one, it would still have a valid use in my miniatures painting hobby. As well having a small portable condenser also has a use case for me, in applications such as cleaning my computer, and other little cleaning jobs where having a thing that blows air is useful, such as cleaning off hair, and dust from miniatures. This airbrush is not well suited for paint spraying applications such as using automotive paints, or house paints. The kit came, and was easy to assemble. The instructions were poorly translated, but I could figure it out given the context of the wording, and guess work. The package was shipped in a box that was loose within another box, I wish it had had some filler, in the larger box, but the product seems to work fine.Even as a beginner airbrushes are a complex subject and if you are just grabbing a kit and going in blind, I will say that you will struggle. You need specific cleaners and flow agents, or formulated paints to make the properties of the paints you're using work, and cleaners and knowledge on how to clean the airbrush. As well you need a mask for safety, even if you want to do this in an outdoor environment, and if indoor you will want a spray booth. Without that no matter how good an airbrush is at its job, the device will fail, or you will have a poor experience. The worry with these cheaper airbrushes is with tolerances and potential damage caused during the cleaning process. The biggest advantage this kit has is its cost, and portability. The box this comes in is smaller then a shoe box, and has a nice plastic sorting thing so you can store it if you wish, in a small form factor. There seems to be some quality control issues with the condenser some people have reported, and I do not know that, that has been addressed. Mine works fine, and had come charged, and functional on arrival.
