Awesome RV Wireless Back-up camera
I have a 2021 East-to-West 28 ft. RV. It does have the factory pre-installed Furrion direct/plug/quick connect on the rear of the trailer. The installation turns out to be easy. Simply plug-in the power supply to the camera, all the parts are included in this purchase. It does not require cutting or splicing/soldiering of wires for my Furrion housing set-up. I found this product was 100% compatible regarding the mounting plate to the original housing on the RV camera mount, it was an exact fit. Comparing to if I had ordered the factory installed camera it would have been an extra $850 in cost.I am very satisfied with this purchase and the extra savings of $$$ this wireless back-up camera for my RV is definitely awesome! It is a quality product with high definition, very clear and sharp video pictures, plus it has video recording capability. I would definitely BUY again.

Easy install, great video
This is a great value and easy to install- it took me about 45 minutes total. For what you pay, I was impressed with the quality of the image, the color, and the materials. It installed just as described (the instructions are somewhat hard to understand, but there is a good diagram), and if you've installed electronics like a stereo before this should be no problem. I installed this on a 2004 Corolla, and tapped into the socket for the reverse light in the trunk, and ran the camera wire through a hole I drilled in the license plate light housing so I wouldn't have to drill sheet metal. The wireless transmitter in then run down the left side of the trunk and hangs off of the trunk mounting strut. The monitor is just hung loose until I find a good spot for it that is not too intrusive, and I am using the cigarette lighter for power. Overall super easy, and works as described. I didn't have to do anything at all to pair the monitor to the camera, as soon as I put the car in reverse about 3 seconds later the monitor showed what was behind me, and when taken out of reverse it reads "no signal". Just like you'd expect.

great image - good signal
Great little camera for the back of your RV without the fuss of running a wire. You do still need to wire the camera to power (back up light if you only want it on during backing up).Image is clear and consistent, no pixilation good motion image. I use mine as a "rear view mirror" aka "on all the time" on the back of my TOAD. the distance it connects is great. I even experimented by separating the two and driving away and I got a good 60 - 70 feet before I lost signal. My 34 foot RV with a jeep unlimited on the back works great. The camera also gives you two options for wiring - a direct wire or a cigarette lighter adaptor. which is super convenient you get 2 cigarette adaptors one for the camera and one for the display. The display gives you a "wifi signal strength icon" which is great to know how good your connection is. connecting the camera to the display is automatic and requires no pairing. when the camera and base are close enough to connect they automatically start working.

Only works when stopped or at speed of less than 30mph
Received this as Xmas gift and just started to use last week. On 2 trips so far and although very pleased when I first install it, I AM NOW VERY DISSATISFIED. Description clearly says it works at up to 100mph on vehicles less than 56 feet. I installed on an 18 foot trailer with total distance between camera and screen of only about 30 feet. Camera works good when stopped and up until 30mph. Camera then completely loses signal and both camera and screen need to be turned off to reboot signal. However, reboot only works under 30mph. I travel on the interstate a lot with this camper and wanted something better to see traffic behind me. That was my intention when I made this purchase....not to use for just backing up. Since I just discovered this issue, the return window on this item is already passed. I am currently on the phone working with Amazon on this issue. As I type this Amazon representative stated he sees that this is a common issue mentioned in these reviews. He is sending me a $21 (no cost to me) signal amplifier kit to hopefully remedy the issue. Not sure if it will work, but this review will stand as this item not performing as advertised. Amazon made it right by me even though it really is the fault of the manufacturer. Can't recommend buying the amplifier kit along with this item as I don't have it yet to see if it solves the problem. To sum up...if you want a camera for only backup assist it works okay. HOWEVER>>>IT DEFINATELY DOES NOT PERFORM AS ADVERTISED. Thank you Amazon for doing right by me.

Good Value
Mounted this on the back of my Jayco X23E. Install was easy. Video instructions posted on You Tube were thorough and easy to understand. Image quality was good. Large screen. At first, I had no power to the camera which was caused by the need to have my truck headlights turned on to supply power to the Furrion connection that the camera plugs into. Neither the camera instructions nor my trailer manual mentioned this. My truck manual may have stated this but I didn’t look bc I figured it out with a quick google search. Wish it came with the the windshield suction mount as I am sure most people are not going to want to mount it to their dash with the bracket that was included but they will sent the windshield mount for free if you email them.

Keep the lens clean
I am impressed with this monitor & camera, I did install a more effective housing to protect the camera, I used a apoxy compound to secure the housing to my trailer. Also put some Teflon tape on the threads for the aerial. The pic is excellent, clear & sharp. The backup lines are perfect for backing up in tight places

. Not really “ plug and play”. Had to solder wires as I don’t like using the supplied wire taps.

As advertised
Bought this camera for the rear of our travel trailer . Easy to install onto the existing Furrion mount , just needed to apply sealant to the top of the mounting plate where the existing Furrion mount had an indentation on the top edge . Other than that it was plug and play . Happy so far , can't wait to try it on our travels . Also looking forward to adding a front view camera .
