The coating does come off a bit when you close them on the ends of the cables, but remains mostly intact. Five stars anyway because they make your bike look really cool. Most people will hardly ever notice them anyway, so imperfections don’t really matter. You will notice though, and you’ll feel like a pro, and look the part too even though you ride like a four year old.These are purely for my own sense of vanity and to be the cyclist version of the “had to do it to ‘em” guy, meme. Great to match up with all 65 bikes in your stable, and you can hand the left overs out to your faster friends you ride with who are clearly more deserving of them.

I waited a while to receive the product but they did come and are of good quality. These are a nice way to personalize your bike and add a bit of color.

Works as they should... we're a little bigger than expected.

I mainly bought these for the red color, to use on my road bike, the red is a little more dull than the presta caps I bought. But red is red. The other colors look quite nice. Instal was easy. Just used needle nose pliers to crimp.
