Jamaican vs Nairobi Blue Mountain
Having been suggested that I try Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee (as it's regarded as one of the best), I did a search for suppliers. Needless to say, I found some on Amazon and placed an order. It's very expensive compared to others and thought it would be a good idea to compliment the order by trying another blend (I found this Nairobi Blue Mountain beans in a nice, large 1kg bag). As I have a bean to cup coffee maker this was ideal.Having received both types of coffee, I decided to try the Jamaican first (kind of excited to try this highly recommended blend). As nice a drink as it is, I thought it was too mellow and smooth. I guess I prefer my coffee a little stronger and distinctive. Then I tried the Nairobi. While it's still has a smooth taste, it's got a little more too it than the Jamaican. It seems to have found just the right spot for me, not a rich, dark coffee, but not too light and smooth........just perfect.I had wondered how good this coffee would be considering this bag works out cheaper than the bags you can buy at the supermarket (approx £3-£4 bag for 225g which works out around £14-£16 per kg)A fantastic coffee at a great price! I'll be placing another order very soonSo Jamaican or Nairobi Blue Mountain? my wallet and my taste buds have clearly voted for Nairobi

Great everyday coffee
There are all sorts of coffee and a bewildering range of prices. We love our coffee and use a great bean to cup machine (the replacement to our older heavily used item bought from Amazon) made by Delonghi. De'Longhi Magnifica ESAM4200 15-Bar Bean to Cup Espresso/Cappuccino Maker, Silver This coffee tastes much better than you might guess from its lower range price - in fact its rounded full flavour suits every occasion. By buying two kilos you get free delivery and even better value. Please take my advice and buy a couple of vacuum containers (find these on Amazon too) Vacuvin Tea & Coffee Saver Vacuum Storage Container Plastic Clear Black 1.3 Litre 17.6 cm x 19 cm x 14.5 cm to store the beans in. You can get 500 grammes of beans in each container so that's why you'll need two. The ones I chose have a very simple manual pump to create the vacuum. NB you can buy one with a pump and one without to save a little - you only need one pump after all. If you find they are too tall to stack in a standard kitchen unit after you finish the first container it'll be because they are that little bit shorter when the lid is under suction....I did think I was going crackers when I tried to stack the containers back in our unit....Anyway this is supposed to be about the coffee. It's good and, if stored with a little care, tastes as good right down to the last bean - and you'll know what I mean if you use a lot of beans. Our usage is moderate and the two kilo's last us about 7 weeks with no loss of flavour.I am so pleased to get better coffee than is readily available in local shops and I get a better price as well as the convenience of home delivery. When it comes to coffee I am picky and this is my favourite pick.I drive a taxi and do not work for Amazon - I just like the product.

Price is good, coffee is OK.
The page calls them 'Blue Mountain', but the packaging calls them 'Blue Mountain Blend'. I'm guessing from the low price that there's very little actual 'Blue Mountain' in the mix. It doesn't taste particularly special - smooth with just a hint of dark chocolate. A drinkable coffee at a good price, just don't expect Blue Mountain.

Don't "Spill the beans"!!
We love our "Coffee and Cake" and after spending some 12 years living and working in Germany missed the "Continental living" as we called our weekends. It was hard to find a reasonably priced supply of good coffee beans until we tried Amazon - great that you supply literally anything! We knew that Blue Mountain coffee was good after a friend working in Kenya for a few months told us about it, so why not try it. We are delighted with the coffee,it's a good price and it works well in our De Longhi coffee machine - also purchased through Amazon - so this morning I was just about to order some more when this email from Amazon arrived asking for a review. What more can I say, great coffee, please sir can I order some more?

Blue Mountain Beans from Nairobi
At this affordable price I purchased a Kilo of these Blue Mountain beans, even if they are not grown in the 'Classic' Jamaica location. When ground, and put into my coffee maker, the flavour was interesting, acidic and lean, and a facinating experience. Sadly I cannot say how close they are to the original Jamaican Blue Mountain, made so famous by such gourmets as Ian Fleming and Len Deighton, as when i have paid the extortionate sum required to buy the original, they have been old, tired beans that don't give you a fair chance to experience what many still call the 'Best coffee in the world'. A good punt for a coffee fanatic like myself.

MMmmmmm Wow - Brilliant flavour
I'd been looking for a smooth coffee full of flavour - and I've found it. I've always been a fan of Columbian Blue Mountain, but now that I'm in retirement the cost of the Columbian one is out of my price range. Imagine how delighted I am to have found this one. Great Aroma, great taste and goes well with Irish Cream, Cherry and ordinary Brandy, Glayva etc for a lovely Gaelic coffee when over-indulging. Great price, great delivery, but I did pay for delivery, will check this the next time though as I did see where others got delivery free. I will have to purchase more as everyone who has tried it has gone away with a grinding. Thank goodness it was a kilo bag.

Surprisingly good...
It does remind me of Jamaican Blue Mountain (did a side by side comparison). Slightly more bitter, but everything is! Roast of the beans is probably too light for Starbucks drinkers (i.e., not burnt) and a little inconsistent (some very light beans in there)...Price is amazing and came next day. For an office coffee / daily drink it's awesome.
