Perfect gift for my grandsons 10th birthday. He wanted a safe place for his personal things and money. With 5 kids in the household privacy is hard to come by., It comes with 2 keys. One for him and one for mom....just in case. Good quality. Very fast shipping.

Does not latch closed.
The box is nice, tray to hold coins but not many bills. Issue is that there is no latch to keep the lid closed when carrying by the handle. The lock mechanism will hold the lid closed only if your remove the key and lock the entire box. For my purposes, handling cash at a cross country meet, having to remove the key and make sure that someone knew where it was to reopen box, was a bit of an issue.
