they pull apart at 20 lbs package says 40lbs and yes i tested them before i went to water and im glad i did . i will pass over anything with their name on it for now on and return policy isnt there with thia itea guess im eating it. need for the river . since i cant return them easy i will leave them in my bag and show every1 dr. fish and how their products are no good . tha ks doctor fish for nothing

I have used these for quick changing lures during Chinook salmon season and I can say these are really strong. I don’t know how many times you can open and close them before the metal begins to significantly fatigue, but so far so good.
