Seemed like a great product but my twins just didn’t care for it. I bought the lite because we live in a desert climate but it was still too hot to use. Babies heated up very quickly under it. Also, right out of the package it smelled like chemicals. May go away if washed. Additionally, there was a lot more light passing through it than I thought there would be. I had high hopes but the bottom line is that it did not extend their very short naps on the go.

Great cover! I use this to protect baby from very bright sun in the car while traveling back and forth from daycare. It is mesh so she doesn’t get too warm but it definitely makes her more warm than me in the car. I blast the air-conditioning in the summer to make sure she’s comfortable. It’s pretty easy to put on. I like the zipper so I can peep in on her after getting it all set up. She usually naps since it’s pretty dark inside once it’s on. This cover fits our Britax infant car seat perfect.

We recently went on our first trip with 8 month old twins. We wanted to give them every chance to sleep on our two long car drives. We bought this and a noise maker for both. They both took their regular naps with this cover on. They already had good sleep habits, but were used to a bedroom with blackout curtains. We couldn't be happier with this!

We live in Florida and needed something to keep the sun out. Our cute muslin cover did nothing! This keeps her much cooler and protected, and as a bonus helps her nap. This version is lightweight and simple, but they have other products with more features.

This thing is a must have! Because of the breathable mesh I would not consider it blackout but it still helps a ton to get our easily distractable little guy to stop looking around and have a cozy place to drift off. It’s going in my survival toolkit gift list for new parents!

Material is nice, coverage is great, and the little peek hole is useful. However it is not good for hot weather, the color and material make it very hot inside.

Great for travel, it does light some light in though. Once buckled can’t unbuckle without lifting it up though. Also, no real way to check on baby without letting in lots of light

My son hated his maxicosi carseat - and still doesn't like it much - but this nifty shade has actually helped him to do the unthinkable and fall asleep and stay asleep on car journeys rather than scream the vehicle to bits. Only wish there was a way to keep the shade partially lifted without it falling down to get baby in and out, and for when he's (rarely) happy to sit in there awake and have a look about. Small niggle. I fully recommend this item!!

Well made fits my MaxiCosi Cabrio car seat. I have a very fair skin baby and this is ideal for the warmer weather or just on a very bright day. Handy zip to view baby, also helps baby sleep whilst out walking. Much easier than trying to apply sunscreen or get baby into the shade. Very quick to stretch over seat and takes up little space in buggy basket.

Only used a few times as baby likes to See out and now she’s 18lb if she’s already asleep and I put this on then it touches her feet to wake herA lot of money for what it is, should have bought an add on brolly instead

I wouldn't call this blackout as you can still see some light coming through but it's a big improvement on the tiny amount of coverage you get with those tiny umbrellas and much safer than putting a blanket over.

AMAZING. So handy for the winter. I haven't used it for the sun yet but it’s great for keeping out the wind and for keeping baby Covered from bright lights etc whilst out and he’s asleep. Glad I brought this
