This bad review is more about the return policy of this company. The hat came in, it seemed OK for a $10 hat, pretty much what you would expect for $10; good not great. The only thing was the s/m was too small for me, so being an Amazon Prime member I thought I could just return no problem for the larger size, but this company does not provide the free returns that I've come to love from Amazon. Instead it would have cost me $5 to return, and in that case I decided to just keep the hat and see if anyone I know would like it.

FIRST OFF i LIKE TO SAY THIS CAP IS A WELL MADE GOOD LOOKING CAP, THAT CAN BE WORN IF YOU'RE DRESSED UP OR GOING CASUAL. I USE TO OWN ONE VERY SIMILAR LOOKING TO THIS ONE, THAT I ENJOYED WEARING BACK IN THE LATE 60s EARLY 70s.MY ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT IS THAT IT WAS WAY BIG, I'M TALKING SO BIG I COULD FIT MY HEAD AND LEFT FOOT IN IT AT THE SAME TIME (AND YOU KNOW HOW DIFFICULT THAT IS FOR WALKING AND LOOKING GOOD) SO I HAD TO RETURN IT AND ORDER A S/M SIZE AND HOPE IT FITS WHEN IT ARRIVES.BY THE WAY THE RETURN POLICY WAS A NO HASSLE EXPERIENCE AND IF YOU ASK ME WOULD I RECOMMEND PURCHASING THIS CAP I'D HAVE TO SAY YES . JUST BE CAREFUL WHEN IT COMES TO THE SIZE YOU ORDER OR YOU WILL DEVELOP A LIMP WEARING IT WITH YOU'R FOOT AND HEAD IN IT AT THE SAME TIME .

Materials used to make this hat are great. It is important to point out the fact that the price of this hat is rediculously low! I would almost expect this hat to be in the 25 dollar or more range. One thing to point out.....my head size is a solid 7 1/4. I first bought this hat and picked the large size.....it was way too big. Nearly an inch too large. It was so cheap that I just ordered a second (smaller) hat and didn't even deal with returning the original. I purchased the S/M size and it fits my head perfectly. It came in a very flat box so I might have to iron out some funky creases....but who cares. Bottom line.....great hat for the price. Still up in the air on whether or not I can actually make it look good...but that I can't fault the hat on that.

It's a fairly nice hat. I measured my head as suggested, got the size relating to the measurement, and it fits a little bit loose on my head. I definitely prefer my hats to sit a little more on the tight side than not, to keep them from shifting into my field of view, but even a bit loose, it's a comfortable hat to wear. The only problem is I can't wear it with the front unbuttoned, but that's a very small issue. If your head is right around the middle of both sizes and you want a snug fit, try the smaller size.

The sizing is WAY off. My true hat size falls clearly in the XL range, but this looked like I was wearing a child's version! The hat was misshaped and badly creased. The packaging was in fine shape, so this is a quality issue, not a shipping one. I tried buying cheap and that is what I got. Save your money and get a better hat. This went in the garbage with the tags intact.

Definitely worth $10!! I bought this hat for a New Years Prohibition Era party and it was perfect!! My wife has decided that she likes it so much that she is going to wear it, in fact, she wore it to work today. For $10 I am extremely pleased with the quality. It's not high end by no means but the materials are nice and all the seams are tight. I wear a 7 5/8 fitted hat and the L/XL fits almost perfectly. There is a small amount of room which lends to how comfortably the hat fits.

I really like the look of the hat and the price is reasonable. The hat is size L/XL so it is obviously designed to accommodate a range of head sizes. It was little big for me, so I bought a velcro strip with the sticky back and stuck it to the inside of the hat. That made the hat fit much better, so the fact that it was a little large for me is no longer an issue.

Nice detailing on this handsome, well-fitting hat. Looks like leather, but probably some synthetic...though it makes little difference, it fits very well, and is not blousy and puffy, like so many of this style tend to be.
