We've had the gate installed for three weeks now and it is holding up very well. Installation took about 2 hours, probably could have cut it down to 1.5 if we had battery powered screw driver. We like the fact that spacing is close enough to provide protection yet open enough to provide open view. All in all very satisfied with the results for the price.

Love love love! Perfect gate for us and we love the color too. Works as described and we couldn’t be happier. The directions are not great but it is not hard to figure out how to put it together.

I have had this gate for less than a week. It was meant to keep my 3 year old pitbull from going upstairs. Putting it together and mounting it took less than an hour and was probably the easiest part. Now, The durability on the other hand is an entirely different matter. We had no problems with our Pitbull climbing fences/gates before but this one is apparently very easy for any medium to large dog to climb over. With that being said, If your dog decides to climb it, be ready for the paint and wood to get absolutely destroyed. And Forget about mounting this gate into drywall or if your house is old enough, sheet rock. It will hold the weight of a 60lb dog going over it but if you cant mount it level with the floor due to trim and you have a dog that will try to crawl under it, if they are strong enough, they can rip the bottom anchors out of the wall.I had high hopes for this gate but for my situation, it was unfortunately a waste of money.

Pros: I like the look, I like that there is no threshold to clear. Cons: the latch is a bit tricky, you kinda have to lift the gate and set it into the sockets instead of just push, close. The instructions are atrociously badly written. You have to guess what the heck they are talking about and it's pretty counter intuitive.

Bolts that lock into brackets constantly loosening and need to be readjusted daily. Other than that… The gate is exactly what we wanted. Very nice. But… the bolts that lock into the brackets keep loosening up and need to be readjusted daily. How do I get these bolts to stay permanently in the position I adjust them to?

We had a metal gate before but it broke. This wood gate looks nice and works well. Has a latch that is easy to use.

First - The instructions are not good. They give you mounting heights for example 4.65", which when written in a proper form is 4 and 21/32". The mounting height will need to be figured out s you install and disregard the instructions.Second - I had to redrill a hole to allow fit of one of the gate hinge bolts (Nothing like fixing and modifying a new item, but i did to avoid the return process.Third - There are no instructions to easily remove the gate. While be somewhat mechanically inclined, i see how they can be removed. I think the removal process will eventually damage or brake the retainer clip that holds the hinge bolt in place, so i am skeptical they can be " easily removed.Nevertheless, I installed two gates in about 2 hours and will repost in a month or so in regards to their function and durability.
